Pioneer Camp. An old favourite.

Whilst it's a long time ago now, Pioneer was originally just a camping site with a few basic amenities.

And whilst we may now also have luxury chalets, we haven't forgotten our roots and still provide a fabulous (and much improved and upgraded) camping location for those wanting to get close to nature.

The campsite and simple chalets share charcoal-heated showers (with hot water available at all times).

For travellers who are heading out from Lusaka in their own self-drive vehicles, Pioneer Camp provides the perfect start and end point, where you can chat about routes and experiences with fellow self-drivers whilst enjoying Pioneer's comfortable facilities and surroundings.
